Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, EmmaLee grew up along Clements Ferry and has witnessed our vibrant community change and grow over the years. After earning her degree from the College of Charleston in 2014, with a double major in Historic Preservation/Community Planning and Arts Management, EmmaLee gained valuable experience working with several local non-profits and community partners. Her roles at the College of Charleston, Historic Charleston Foundation, Drayton Hall, The South Carolina Historical Society, the Medical University of South Carolina, and Drawing Near to God have deepened her appreciation for cultural resources and their impact on individuals and communities.
At Point Hope, EmmaLee is dedicated to supporting our parishioners and serves as the primary contact for all administrative needs. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Charlie, and their three children: Sadie, Bonnie, and Charles Jr. (Chip). As you can imagine, they keep her wonderfully busy!
